Karen Watkins
With over 20 years’ experience in structuring organisations from inception and throughout various stages of growth, Karen has extensive experience in working with SMEs, across a number of business sectors including professional services, retail and hospitality, manufacturing, engineering and construction. An experienced professional with a strong background in operational delivery and development of employees against business goals.
Her specialism is in working with small and medium size companies, delivering operational solutions that are commercially focused and enable growth of the business. Karen also works as a Non-Executive Director, Trustee and is also a trained Predictive Index (PI) Analyst.
Outside of work Karen enjoys spending time with her family and can often be found with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs, she also turns her hand to riding her daughters horse if time permits!

Rowena Smyth
Rowena has worked in professional services focusing on people, performance and management her entire career.
Rowena’s role at Rowan Consulting is to ensure all projects and clients are supported in an administrative capacity whilst keeping on top of HR changes and policy amends. She is key to keeping our lovely clients up to date with all things HR and is responsible for our Rowan Insights product.
Working closely with business owners, Rowena understands the challenges that can face a growing company and has a solid understanding of how people can impact the business.
Excellent from start to finish, having dealt with Rowena for several years she has a good understanding of the culture of our business. She also topped this up with regular site visits when required.
