Cookie Policy

What cookies are
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit our website. Cookies help the site work properly and let us see how it is being used.
Cookies we use
We keep this simple. We only use the cookies below, and nothing else.
Cookie type | What it does | Consent needed? |
Strictly necessary | Keeps the site running. Loads pages, remembers basic settings, keeps the site secure. | No, these are always on |
Analytics | Tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they use, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics. | Yes, unless you agree |
Forms and booking | Lets our enquiry and booking forms work properly when you contact us. | Yes, unless you agree |
We do not use cookies for advertising or targeting. We do not sell or share cookie data with anyone for marketing purposes.
Your consent
Beyond the strictly necessary cookies, we ask for your consent before anything is set. When you first visit our site, you can choose Accept or Reject. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Third parties
Our analytics cookies are provided by Google Analytics. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. We do not control cookies set by other websites you may reach through links on our site, including our knowledge hub links out to YouTube. Once you leave our site, YouTube’s own cookies and privacy policy apply, not ours.
Newsletter sign up
Our newsletter sign up form is provided by Mailchimp. A standard sign up form like ours does not normally set any cookies on your device. If we ever add pop ups or extra tracking features to the form, we will update this policy and the table above to reflect that.
The email address you give us to join the newsletter is personal data, not a cookie. How we look after that is covered in our separate Privacy Policy, not this one.
How long cookies last
Strictly necessary cookies last only as long as your visit, or a short period after. Analytics and form cookies expire automatically, and none last longer than 24 months.
Turning cookies off in your browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. If you block all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, some parts of our site may not work properly.
Contact us and complaints
If you have questions or concerns about this policy, contact us first using the details on our website and we will sort it out. If you are still unhappy, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
